Range Safety Officer /
Sales & Service Representative
We are searching for energetic, customer-oriented representatives to help build a community-focused range. This role is heavily relied on to create a positive customer experience while also promoting and enforcing safety on the range.
No experience in the firearms industry? That’s OK. Apotheon provides full and comprehensive training on the specifics of the industry. Prior experience is not required, but the desire to create a world-class, positive customer experience is.
This position starts at $20/hr and includes the opportunity to be part of a new and growing company with future profit-sharing potential.
Part-Time
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years or older.
- Must have a willingness to learn.
- Must be a team player and work well in a group setting.
- Must be available weeknights and at least 1 day on the weekend.
- A focus on customer service and maximizing the customer experience.
- Willingness to cross-train in retail and floor roles.
- Legally able to possess firearms and pass a background check.

Job Description

This role supports both the range and customer-facing operations. The right person will be comfortable learning, communicating clearly, enforcing safety standards, and helping customers feel welcomed and confident.
Range Responsibilities
- Maintain safety in shooting ranges and facilities.
- Explain and enforce facility, firearms, and safety rules with customers.
- Check customers in and out of the range.
- Explain range procedures to customers.
- Explain the functionality of range equipment to customers.
- Explain the functionality of firearms to customers.
- Ensure safety and customer satisfaction during range time.
Facility + Retail Support
- Maintain the range by stocking range supplies.
- Organize and clean shooting tables and range areas.
- Follow all OSHA standards.
- Help stock inventory in the pro-shop.
- Assist other employees on day-to-day tasks when not on the range.
- Manage and process FFL paperwork.
- Comply with ATF regulations.
